악기 배우기

I've always admired people who can play musical instruments.

악기를 연주할 수 있는 사람들을 항상 존경해왔습니다.

Unfortunately, I never had the opportunity to learn one properly when I was younger, but it's something I've been thinking about lately.

불행히도 어렸을 때 제대로 배울 기회가 없었지만, 최근에 생각하고 있는 것입니다.

When I was in middle school, I briefly tried learning the guitar.

중학교 때 잠깐 기타를 배우려고 했습니다.

My parents bought me an acoustic guitar, and I was really excited at first.

부모님이 통기타를 사주셨고, 처음에는 정말 신났습니다.

However, without proper lessons and with schoolwork getting busier, I gradually stopped practicing and eventually gave up.

그러나 제대로 된 레슨 없이 학교 공부가 바빠지면서 점차 연습을 멈추고 결국 포기했습니다.

Looking back, I wish I had been more persistent.

돌이켜보면, 더 끈기 있었으면 좋았을 텐데.

These days, I'm considering giving it another try.

요즘 다시 도전해볼까 고려하고 있습니다.

The piano particularly interests me because it's such a versatile instrument.

피아노가 특히 관심이 가는데 매우 다재다능한 악기이기 때문입니다.

Many of my favorite pieces of music feature piano, and I think it would be wonderful to be able to play even simple songs.

제가 좋아하는 많은 음악에 피아노가 나오고, 간단한 곡이라도 연주할 수 있으면 멋질 것 같습니다.

With online resources like YouTube tutorials and apps like Simply Piano, learning an instrument seems more accessible than ever.

YouTube 튜토리얼과 Simply Piano 같은 앱의 온라인 리소스로 악기 배우기가 그 어느 때보다 접근하기 쉬워 보입니다.

Another motivation is my daughter.

또 다른 동기는 딸입니다.

She's showing interest in music, and I think it would be amazing if we could learn an instrument together.

음악에 관심을 보이고 있어서 함께 악기를 배울 수 있다면 놀라울 것 같습니다.

The idea of playing music as a family sounds really appealing.

가족으로서 음악을 연주한다는 아이디어가 정말 매력적으로 들립니다.

I know that learning an instrument as an adult requires more patience and dedication, but I believe it's never too late to start.

성인으로서 악기를 배우는 것이 더 많은 인내와 헌신이 필요하다는 것을 알지만, 시작하기에 늦은 것은 없다고 믿습니다.

Maybe next year, I'll finally commit to taking lessons and make it one of my goals.

어쩌면 내년에 마침내 레슨을 받기로 하고 목표 중 하나로 삼을 것입니다.
